MPITA NJIA BY ALICIOS FT JULIANA KANYOMOZI

Uganda and East Africa’s songbird Juliana Kanyomozi, who recently released a patriotic music video titled "I am Ugandan" and a duet "My Lady remix" with America based Ghanian Jay Ghartey, has yet again featured in another music video titled "Mpita njia" with a new East and Central African Sensation Alicios Theluji.
“Mpita njia” is about a woman who is trying to warn another woman about the man she is dating. The song was written by Alicios, arranged and produced by R-Kay and the Video directed by Onoh.
The song titled "Mpita Njia" is Alicios's debut single off her debut Album which is still under production by renown producer Robert Kamanzi a.k.a. R-Kay. The album features numerous East African Artistes like Juliana(Uganda), Kidumu,(Burundi) and Nasty Thomas and Collo (both from Kenya) and all the songs on the album have been written by Alicios herself.

Alicios Theluji(Born in 1987) real names Alice Niyonsaba was born in Nyanzale in the Province of Kivu in the Democratic Republic of Congo. She was inspired to join the music Industry by her Mum who was a musician. Her cosmopolitan style has been influenced by her travels and time in different parts of the World including Kenya (where she is doing her audio production under R-Kay), Sweden(where she took music classes) and Uganda lately(where she shot her debut video "Mpita njia" with Juliana). She sings in English, Swahili, Lingala and French.

Alive Again By Juliana Kanyomozi Tops People Awards Charts for the Third Week

Juliana Kanyomozi’s Alive Again is the first ever video in people awards charts history to top charts for 3 weeks consecutively. Sizzaman’s Angella topped people awards charts for week 3 and 4 and Goodlyfe’s Radio and Weasel Talk video had the same recorded of two weeks topping consecutively. In series or not, no Ugandan video has ever topped people awards charts for more than 3 weeks. Juliana’s Alive again is on the challenge to break this record too.

By Friday last week, Rabadaba’s Mwami Sentema video was leading on our statistics charts, Juliana suddenly came back to reclaim her position with high quality HD Alive Again video; a Deddac film.

Moses Radio and Weasel TV’s Lwaki Tokula was in second spot last, it has been over powered by Rabadaba’s Mwami Sentema and is now in 3rd spot. Goodlyfe’s other video Talk is also on the top 10 count down in #8.

For the first time ever, UK based Ugandan artist Chizzo, Empress, Gift Ov Kaddo, and Baby Joe the Kokonya fame musician are appearing on the top 10 videos People awards charts. Wampisa Bubi video by Chizzo is in 6th position, Nakibuka by Empress Featuring Coco Finger is in #4. Whereas Baby Joe’s Enyonta Ya Love and Gift Ov Kaddo’s Co Driver videos are in 9th and 10th spots respectively.

JULIANA RELEASES LIBE SANYU

Sensational are her lyrics and great vocal abilities have been her main trademark for the past years in the Ugandan music industry.

She happens to be one of the few Ugandan musicians that made their own musical identity lyrically, vocally and style wise.

Juliana in Libe Sanyu is also backed up by professional traditional instruments exotic players doing it with a distortion crazy touch plus some of the best producers Uganda has such as producer Jozy Mayanja.

Since this song has been produced in the hit factory Grayce Records of producer Kiwuuwa, I think this makes Libe Sanyu a mega hit already?
